Alyssa Graham In Her Words Watching The Sky

Artist: Alyssa Graham
Hails From: New York
Song: 'Watching the Sky'
Album: 'Lock, Stock and Soul' [iTunes]
Sounds Like: Joni Mitchell, Carole King

In Her Words: "'Watching The Sky' is a simple country-flavored modern duet between me and Jesse Harris, an old friend and an amazing songwriter. Though I had originally recorded it solo, it's got this simultaneous sense of vulnerability and strength, a contradiction that cried out for a duet. It was a serendipitous opportunity for Jesse and I to track a tune together and it was a blast recording it with him -- old friends, microphones and guitars. What could be better?"
